Privacy policy

Updated October 4, 2026

These sites do not ask who you are. They have no accounts, no sign-up forms, and no advertising, and their pages set no cookies.

This policy covers SatSites and its four sites: Fast Stats for Sats, Fast Facts for Sats, Fast Acts for Sats, and Fast News for Sats. DG Tulman runs all five and can be reached at dg@faststatsforsats.com.

What happens when you open a page

Cloudflare hosts these sites. To send you a page, its servers handle the request your browser makes, which includes your IP address and the kind of browser and device you use. Any site you visit receives the same details, and Cloudflare's privacy policy explains how Cloudflare treats them.

Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It shows which pages were opened, which site linked to them, the visitor's country, the browser, operating system, and type of device, and how fast the page loaded. Cloudflare says the service uses no cookies and does not fingerprint visitors.

Pages that show a live price or fee estimate ask api.faststatsforsats.com for the latest figure. That service belongs to these sites and runs on Cloudflare too. It sends the same public numbers to every visitor.

The sats converter and the badge form on Fast Stats for Sats work in your browser. The amounts you type are not sent anywhere.

The charts you can adjust and the two calculators on Fast Stats for Sats work the same way. The period, the amounts, the dates, and the fees you choose stay in your browser. "Share this view" makes a link that carries those choices after the # sign, a part of an address that browsers do not send to any site. When someone opens such a link, the page reads the choices and takes them out of its address.

Fast News for Sats shows each time in your own time zone. Your browser works that out by itself, and nothing about you is sent.

The knowledge check on Fast Facts for Sats works the same way: your answers are not saved or sent. "Send this explanation to a friend" opens your own device's sharing, copies the page's address, or starts an email in your own mail program. These sites do not learn who receives it.

What these sites do not do

They do not build profiles of visitors, sell information about them, or pass it to advertisers.

Cookies and what stays in your browser

The pages on these sites set no cookies. Cloudflare may set a cookie of its own when it needs to check that a visitor is a person, not an automated program.

One thing can be kept in your browser, and only if you use it. On Fast Acts for Sats you can tick off the twelve acts, and the numbers of the acts you ticked are saved on your own device so they are still there when you come back. That list is never sent to these sites or to anyone else, and "Clear my ticks" on that page removes it.

It holds nothing about what you own. These sites never ask for your holdings, wallet addresses, or recovery words.

Links to sources, products, and services lead to sites with their own privacy policies.

Where a page carries an affiliate link, the link passes through an address on this site that begins with /go/ and forwards you to the company, with a code that shows you came from here. From there the company's policy applies, and it may use cookies to credit the visit. The affiliate disclosure explains how those links work.

Charts and badges on other sites

Another site can show a chart or a sats badge from Fast Stats for Sats. Both load from faststatsforsats.com, the badge also asks api.faststatsforsats.com for the price, and neither sets a cookie.

Email

If you write to dg@faststatsforsats.com, your address and your message stay in that mailbox so the message can be answered. Zoho Mail hosts the mailbox. Ask at the same address to have a message deleted.
